Afgelopen maandag liet ik jullie een kleine haul zien met wat Essence lakjes. Vandaag ga ik de twee colour3 lakken reviewen. Afgelopen zondag was het supermooi weer met een heerlijk zonnetje, dus ik heb natuurlijk even de kans genomen om de lakjes in het zonnetje te swatchen!
Last monday I showed you my little haul with Essence polishes. Today I'm going to review the two Essence Colour3 polishes. It was very sunny last sunday so ofcourse I took my chance and made the swatches in sunlight.
Ik heb 2 lakjes meegenomen, dit zijn Midnight Date/City that never sleeps en Shopping trip in soho/Party all night long. Ik moet zeggen dat ik zelf niet zo'n fan ben van de verpakking. De lakjes aan 2 kanten is vrij onhandig, je kunt het potje niet rechtop zetten en laten we het ook maar niet op het opbergen hebben want ik heb geen idee hoe ik deze lakjes ga verwerken in mijn stash.. In de Helmer kunnen ze niet praktisch liggen!
I took 2 polishes with me. These are Midnight Date/City that never sleeps and Shopping trip in soho/ Party all night long. I have to admit that I don't like the package very much. It's not easy to apply, you can't let it stand straight and don't talk about storing it in my stash. It's horrible they don't fit my Helmer and I don't know what to do with these packages!
Als eerste de combinatie van Shopping trip in soho/Party all night long. Op mijn wijsvinger 2 laagjes Shopping trip in Soho, het lakje is wat aan de waterige kant maar opzich wel een leuk fel kleurtje voor de zomer. Op mijn middelvinger 2 laagjes Party All Night long, ik had echt verwacht dat dit zo'n niet dekkende topcoat zou zijn, maar zoals je ziet valt dit reuze mee. Ook deze is vrij waterig. De laatste nagel heeft 1 laagje Shopping trip in soho en 1 laagje party all night long daaroverheen. De combinatie van de twee lakjes samen lijkt sterk op Party all night long alleen.
Let's start with the combination of shopping trip in soho/Party all night long. On my index 2 layers of Shopping trip in Soho, the polish is pretty watery but it's nice for summer. My middlefinger contains 2 layers of Party All Night Long, I thought this polish would be very sheer, but as you can see it's not! Also this polish is pretty watery. The last nail has 1 layer of Shopping Trip in Soho and 1 layer of Party All Night Long. The combination of those 2 look very familiair with just party all night long.
En dan nu de combinatie van Midnight date/ City that never sleeps. Deze heeft al wat meer afwisseling, de topcoat is meer paars dan blauw, wat ik persoonlijk leuker vind dan al het roze van de lakjes hierboven. Ook hier heb ik op mijn wijsvinger 2 laagjes Midnight date, dit is een prachtige donkerblauwe shimmer lak. Op mijn middelvinger 2 laagjes City that never sleeps, deze is iets minder dekkend dan Party all night long, maar wel erg leuk. Op mijn ringvinger een combinatie van 1 laag Midnight date en 1 laag City that never sleeps. De combinatie van deze twee lakjes vind ik erg leuk!
And now the combination of Midnight date/City that never sleeps. This one has more difference then the one above, I like it that the topper is more purple instead of blue. On my index 2 layers of Midnight date a gorgeous dark blue shimmer polish. On my middlefinger 2 layers of City that never sleeps, as you can see it's a little bit more sheer then Party all night long but I like it! On my ringfinger a combination of 1 layer Midnight date and 1 layer City that never sleeps. I really like this combination!
