La Femme Beauty - Ultra Orange

Met de 31 day nail challenge in het vooruitzicht ben ik weer flink bezig geweest met héél veel verschillende lakken uit de kast halen en weer gaan gebruiken. Zo'n challenge is ideaal wanneer je van mening bent dat je al je lakjes een beetje tekort doet. Zo vond ik Ultra Orange, een lakje die eigenlijk best de moeite waard is!

With the 31 day nail challenge, which starts this wednesday for me, I'm very busy with many polishes. These kind of challenges are very good if you think you don't use your polishes enough. I do have lots of polishes and before I even emptied some polish bottles but now i'm not doing that very easily anymore. Well I found this Ultra Orange polish, let's take a look at it!

E.L.F. - Medium Red

Short Stash Preview

In het begin van dit jaar liet ik al weten druk bezig te zijn met het herindelen van mijn stash. Nog steeds ben ik er niet helemaal uit hoe ik het allemaal wil gaan indelen, maar ik ben druk bezig! In deze post ga ik een kleine preview laten zien met hoe het er nu ongeveer uitziet, waar ik tevreden over ben en wat zeker nog anders gaat worden!

In the beginning of this year I already told you that I was busy with reorganizing my stash again. Still i'm not ready with it, i'm busy with it but just don't know what I want exactly. In this post I'm showing some pictures of how it looks right now!

Comparison: Orange!

Oranje lakjes, iets wat ik zelf eigenlijk bijna nooit draag. Toen ik bezig was met het opnieuw inruimen van mijn stash lagen deze twee lakjes toevallig naast elkaar. Hmm ze lijken wel erg veel op elkaar, tijd voor een comparison, zullen deze lakjes dupes zijn? Links is: La Femme Beauty - Orange Cream en Rechts: Essence - Get the Fever.

Orange polishes, something which I don't wear very often. When I was busy organising my stash again I saw these 2 polishes together. Hmm they're pretty close to each other. Let's make a comparison and look if these are dupes! The left polish is: La Femme Beauty - Orange Cream and the right: Essence - Get the Fever.

B.O Nailpolish - Nr 51

Afgelopen maandag liet ik jullie het blauwe lakje van bovenstaand setje al zien. Vandaag is het de beurt aan het paarse lakje, nr 51! Kijk je mee naar dit lakje?

[Video] Haul New Polishes

Deze week hebben jullie op de website kunnen stemmen voor de filmpjes. Maar liefst 90 procent ziet liever filmpjes in het Nederlands. Een heel groot deel dus. Ik heb besloten om voorlopig dit even uit te proberen. Zoals je misschien al gemerkt hebt ben ik hard bezig met het goede voornemen: meer gebruik maken van het youtube account. Ik ga dus proberen regelmatig filmpjes op te nemen met dingen die gewoon niet zo handig zijn via foto. 

This week you could all vote on my website for the language of the videos. 90% Voted for Dutch, this means that I'm making the videos in Dutch for a while now, just to try it out. As you can see I really worked on my goal for this year: Regular updating the youtube account with more videos. So I will try to continue this, regulary making a video about a subject which isn't very handy to see on pictures. Ofcourse I do speak dutch, but although you may not understand it, you can still watch the video to see the new polishes. 

Essence - Chirp Chirp!

Chirp Chirp van Essence is een lakje uit de Natventurista collectie. Ik weet niet zeker meer van welke maand, maar ik vond ze laatst terug in de uitverkoop! Ik heb overigens de collectie zelf niet echt in de displays in de winkels zien liggen. In ieder geval vandaag het lakje Chirp Chirp!

Chirp Chirp! by Essence is a polish from the Natventurista collection. I'm not sure from which month this one is, but I found them in sale a few weeks ago! I've never seen the collection in displays in the stores... Well today's polish is Chirp Chirp!

B.O Nailpolish - Nr 14

Bovenstaand setje nagellak komt bij Born Pretty Store vandaan. Een webshop waar ze veel verschillende nagel (en accessoire) gerelateerde spulletjes verkopen. Het lakje die ik jullie vandaag ga laten zien is het meest linkse lakje. De blauwe.

Notd: Hello Kitty Waterdecals (Gelnails)

[Video] Nailpolish Remover Pads

Toen ik de setjes crackle nagellak kocht bij de Action vond ik ook bovenstaande nagellak remover pads. Ik had nog nooit pads geprobeerd dus ik besloot ze mee te nemen om te reviewen voor de website! Hieronder een filmpje met de review omdat je met foto's gewoon niet goed kunt zien of de pads de nagellak er goed afhalen!


When I bought the set with crackle polishes at the Action I also found above set with nailpolish remover pads. I'd never tried pads before so I wanted to give it a try! I made a video with the review of above product. It's in dutch because you probably can't find these exact pads in other lands. I also made a video so you can see how it works and if it removes nailpolish good!

Nailstickers on Gelnails

Een tijdje geleden liet ik al een nailart met nagelstickertjes zien op mijn eigen nagels. Nu heb ik dezelfde nagelstickers ook gebruikt op gelnagels, kijk je mee?

A while ago I showed you a manicure with my own nails using nailstickers. This time I used the same brand nailstickers but now on gelnails. 

Hema - Nr 16 (Mini)

Afgelopen Kerst kreeg ik een aantal mini lakjes van de Hema. Nr 16 is één van die lakjes, in het potje zag hij er niet heel erg veel belovend uit, maar hoe zal hij eruit zien op mijn nagels?

Last Christmas I recieved some mini polishes from Hema. Nr 16 was one of those polishes, it didn't look very special, but let's give it a try! Below the swatches from this polish.

[Video] Max - Crackle Polish Set

Degene die mij op Twitter en Facebook volgen hebben het gister al meegekregen. De Action heeft tegenwoordig superleuke Crackle setjes! Ik heb voor jullie een review opgenomen op film die je hieronder kunt bekijken! Dit keer trouwens gewoon in het Nederlands!

The ones who already follow me on Twitter and Facebook saw it yesterday. The Action is selling Crackle sets from the brand Max! I recorded a review on video. I'm sorry this time it's a dutch one because Action is a dutch store! But ofcourse you can see the video to look at the results!

Eyeko - Cosmic Polish

Cosmic Polish van Eyeko is echt een lakje die je aan de ruimte doet denken! Op het flesje staat de tekst: For space age nails gedrukt. Geen idee of dit een typische uitdrukking ergens voor is, maar space nails zijn het echt wanneer je dit lakje gebruikt!

Cosmic Polish from Eyeke is a polish which makes you think about space! The bottle says: For space age nails. I don't know what this means exactly, maybe it's an English expression which I don't know, but you do have space nails when you wear this polish!

Paris Memories - Nr 230

Ook dit lakje van Paris Memories dwaalde al een hele lange tijd rond in mijn stash zonder ooit gebruikt te zijn! Hoog tijd om dit lakje dus even te laten zien, is het terecht dat ik hem zo negeerde of juist niet?

This polish from Paris Memories wandered for a very long time in my stash without using it! It's time to swatch and show it to you, am I ashamed that I never used this before or not?

Notd: FlowerDecals Nailart (Gelnails)

Gister liet ik jullie al de velletjes waterdecals zien van Born Pretty Store. Ik wilde ze graag uitproberen om te testen hoe de decals zijn. Mn zus wilde wel proefkonijn zijn dus toen ik haar gelnagels opvulde heb ik haar een nailart gegeven met de waterdecals! Born Pretty Store heeft overigens een groot assortiment aan nailart voor een goedkope prijs, zeker waard om even een kijkje te nemen!

Yesterday I showed you a post with waterdecals from Born Pretty Store. I really wanted to use them just to see how the quality is. My sister wanted some on her nails, so I filled her gelnails up and gave her a nailart with waterdecals! Born Pretty Store has a big assortment nailart, it's worth to take a look the products are very cheap!

La Femme Beauty - Ruby Sorbet

Afgelopen zondag liet ik jullie deze nailart zien met de stickertjes van Max. Vandaag ga ik jullie de swatches laten zien van het basislakje die ik gebruikt heb! Het is La femme Beauty - Ruby Sorbet! De naam alleen al vind ik zelf superschattig!

Last sunday I showed you this nailart with the nailstickers from Max. Today I'm going to show you the basepolish I used for that nailart. It's La Femme Beauty - Ruby Sorbet. I just love the name of this polish, how cute is it?

E.L.F. - Rosy Raisin

Vandaag ga ik jullie een lakje laten zien van het merk E.L.F. (Eyes, Lips, Face). De lakjes zijn ontzettend goedkoop (€1,00) maar helaas de verzendkosten van de webshop niet.. Zo heel afentoe plaats ik een bestelling bij E.L.F. wanneer ze een leuke actie hebben. Het lakje Rosy Raisin had ik al een tijdje en was toch eens aan swatchen toe! 

Today I'm going to show you another polish by E.L.F.(Eyes, Lips, Face). The polishes are very cheap (€1,00) but the shipping costs aren't.. Once in a while I place an order at their webshop with some polishes. Rosy Raisin is one of the polishes which I own for quite a while, but I've never swatched it before. Let's see the swatches!

Etos Effect Nails - Nr 21

Ik ben persoonlijk niet zo'n groot fan van de lakjes van Etos. De lakjes zijn tegenwoordig mini size en de prijs die daarbij hoort (€1,99) vind ik persoonlijk overdreven tegenover de inhoud die je krijgt! Laatst was er een 1+1 actie bij de Etos en besloot 2 lakjes te halen om uit te testen.

Personally I'm not a big fan of Etos polishes. The polishes are seriously mini size, and the prize you pay is way to much in my eyes ( €1,99). So there was an discount with buy one get one free, so I decided to give them a new try.

Een tijdje geleden vertelde ik al iets over Fotolia. Bovenstaand bericht kreeg ik afgelopen week in mijn emailbox. Fotolia houdt een superleuke campagne waarin je iedere 10e van de maand een leerzaam filmpje kunt downloaden m.b.t digitale technieken om o.a. foto's mee te bewerken. Je kunt de filmpjes iedere 10e van de maand gratis hier downloaden!

Notd: Butterflies & Flowers

Halverwege de maand december schreef ik deze review voor jullie over de nagelstickers van Max. Hierbij liet ik al weten de stickers nog uit te gaan proberen en hier een leuke nailart mee te maken! Eindelijk had ik tijd voor de nailart, dus vandaag ga ik hem laten zien! Het heeft even geduurd, dit heeft als reden dat ik het ontzettend druk met school heb en nu gewoon iets minder de tijd heb om uitgebreid te gaan nailarten. Maar deze tijd komt terug, de 31 nail challenge staat namelijk in de vooruitzicht en hier moeten een aantal superleuke nailarts voor gemaakt worden!

Half december I wrote this review for you about the nailstickers by Max. I promised you a nailart which these stickers but didn't have the time earlier. This has one simple reason, I'm very busy with school right now, I have to make tons of stuff so I just don't have all the time anymore to make big nailarts. But I promise, this time will come back! For next month I have the 31 nail challenge in mind, and I have to make a lot of nailarts for this one!

Max - Pink Passion

De meeste van jullie hebben inmiddels wel kennis gemaakt met het merk Max. Max is een merk wat verkocht wordt bij de Action, de lakjes zijn ontzettend goedkoop maar er zitten afentoe erg leuke kleurtjes tussen! Een lakje kost overigens €0,50!

Most of you already know the brand Max. This brand is available at the Action and the polishes are very cheap! Sometimes they do have very nice colours, one polish just costs €0,50!

Nailart on Gelnails

Deze post is wellicht iets aan de late kant, ik ga jullie namelijk een nailart laten zien op gelnagels. De gelnagels zijn van mijn moeder en dit is de nailart die ik bij haar plaatste voor kerst, ach een beetje laat maar toch nog wel leuk om te zien!

This post is a little bit late, i'm going to show you a nailart on gelnails. The gelnails are my moms and this is the nailart I made on her nails for Christmas. So just like I said, i'm a little bit late, but ofcourse it's still fun to see!

Comparison Etos & Casuelle

Vorig jaar konden jullie in dit artikel al een lakje van Etos zien. Tijdens het swatchen kwam het kleurtje mij zo bekend voor en hierbij dacht ik dus een dupe gevonden te hebben. Ik pakte het lakje uit de kast en lakte ze beide even op mijn nagels. Klik op read more om te zien of er inderdaad een dupe van dit lakje is!

Last year in this post, you already saw a polish from Etos. While I was swatching this polish I thought I already had such a polish, so I thought I had a dupe. I looked through my stash and took the polish and swatched them next to the Etos polish. Click on read more to see if I found a dupe!

Catrice - Khaki Perry

Voor vandaag heb ik weer een leuk lakje van Catrice voor jullie! Het lakje is Khaki Perry, en ik moet eerlijk toegeven dat toen ik het lakje zelf in de winkel zag ik me eigenlijk niet heel erg aangetrokken vond tot het lakje. Dit lakje van Catrice is een typisch voorbeeld van een 'naam' gevalletje, ik vond de naam erg leuk dus ik kocht hem!

For today i'm going to show you another polish from Catrice! A polish named Khaky Perry, I have to admit that I didn't like the polish very much when I saw it in the store, but I just bought it because I loved the name of it! Do you have this problem too?

Gelukkig nieuw jaar! Ik hoop dat iedereen een fijne jaarwisseling gehad heeft, en dat alle handen en vingers er nog aan zitten! ;) Om dit jaar te beginnen (en stiekem omdat het afgelopen jaar een dagje te weinig had) wil ik jullie een video laten zien met alle nailarts die ik in het jaar 2011 gemaakt heb!
