Rebuy: La Femme Beauty - Party Pluto

Zoals je in de titel van dit artikel al kunt lezen is La Femme Beauty - Party Pluto een rebuy, ofwel dit is mijn tweede potje! Ik kan me niet meer herinneren dat ik dit lakje ooit heb laten zien want ik geloof dat ik hem al zo goed als opgemaakt had voordat ik aan deze blog begon. Goed, je begrijpt natuurlijk wel dat ik helemaal wild werd toen ik de kans kreeg dit lakje opnieuw te kopen ;-)!

As you can read in the title, La Femme beauty - Party Pluto is a rebuy, which means this is my second bottle of polish! I can't remember if I ever wrote anything about this polish, but I thought the bottle was already empty when I started this blog. Well you understand that I became wild when I saw this polish again in the stores, I could buy it again ;-)!

Pink Glitter Gelnails

Laatst wilde mijn nichtje ook graag eens uitproberen hoe het is om gelnagels te hebben. Ik liet haar zelf uitkiezen wat ze op haar nagels wilde hebben en ze koos een leuke roze glitter gel uit. Ik besloot hier een french manicure mee te maken, zie hieronder het resultaat!

A while ago my niece wanted to try gelnails too. So I letted her choose what she wanted on her nails and she wanted a pink glitter gel, so I made a pink glitter french manicure on her nails. See the results below!

Seven things about me:


- Next to nailstyling I'm also a student, I'm learning to become a preschool teacher. I just started my first year, so I will be ready over 4 years :p
- I don't understand how I can combine working as a nailstylist, blog every day, go to school every day and make homework everyday, prepare lessons for the childrens in my class once a week etc. But well it works out for me.
- I'm a it clumsy, I always fall down. Once I tripped over a stick and tore my ankle.
- I make a new nailart every week, which means that once a week I make a lot of swatches and pictures so I can blog the rest of the week :). Sunday's are my nailart days, except when I'm having it to busy with school or something like that.
- My sister and mom still have their gelnails! I'm so proud that they still have their gelnails since March this year! I made some nice nailart designs on them so stay tuned, I will show you them!
- I'm having a really hard time thinking about this list of 7 things about me.. I'm stuck at number 6 as you can see. It's hard to say things about myself!
- Alright, the last one. I hate public transport, but unfortunately I have to go to school 4 days a week with a train, I just hate it! Luckily the last day of the week I'm at a school next to my own house :)!

TEEEZ - Gutsy

Nog steeds niet helemaal bekomen van de shock van deze morgen gaan we nu toch maar gewoon weer door met de nagelartikelen. Heb je trouwens nog geen idee waar ik het over heb? Je kunt het in deze post lezen onderaan! Het lakje die ik jullie vandaag ga laten zien is een lakje van het merk TEEEZ!

Shocking News Around The Nailart Contest!

De laatste winnaar heeft inmiddels ook gereageerd, zij zal dus haar prijs gewoon ontvangen!

The last winner responded on the email I sended her, so she will recieve her prize!

Dankzij een oplettende bezoeker ben ik er zojuist achter gekomen dat één van de winnaars een foto van een ander heeft ingestuurd. Ik ben behoorlijk geschrokken hoe dit kon gebeuren, ik vertrouwde alle deelnemers erop dat zij hun eigen werk in zouden sturen, helaas is er dus iemand geweest die dit niet nodig vond en andermans werk als eigen werk heeft ingestuurd.. Voor degenen die dit nog niet wisten, de jury bestond uit mijn moeder, zus en 2 vrienden zij wisten hier dus ook helemaal niets vanaf, zij hebben alle foto's beoordeeld op de nailart, de moeilijkheidsgraad, de originaliteit en het idee achter de nailart. Helaas heeft deze dame in kwestie haar prijs al ontvangen en is er niets meer aan te doen. Ik heb expres gekozen voor deze jury zodat er geen ruzies zouden onstaan over het feit dat meiden met grote blogs vaak winnen omdat zij hun bezoekers vragen om te stemmen, dit leek mij dus een goede oplossing. Helaas is dit dus niet zo gelopen en ben ik zelf vrij teleurgesteld hierin. Nu heb ik dus wel nog steeds een overgebleven prijs, misschien willen jullie alle entries zien en zelf bepalen wie de laatste winnaar wordt? Of de prijs bewaren en een aparte giveaway starten waar je jezelf voor kunt opgeven? Je kunt dus nog steeds stemmen in de zijbalk.

Thanks to an observant visiter I just discovered that one of the winners faked her entry.. I'm pretty shocked how this happened, I trusted all the contestants that they made their own nailart and I didn't knew the picture.. You can see the original pic here. Unfortunately she already recieved her prize, I'm so dissappointed in her that she lied and entered a picture that wasn't heres.. I just want to tell you that the judges were my mom, sister and 2 friends. Don't blame them they also didn't knew this picture was stolen. I picked them out to be a judge so there wasn't going to be a fight because ladies with big blogs ask their visitors to vote so I thought this was the perfect solution just not let the visitors vote. Maybe it's a good idea to put all the contestants on the blog so you can vote on the last winner? Or just start a new giveaway for this last prize? Thanks Anastacia for letting me know this!

Notd: Skull Waterdecal & Pop Art!

Voor vandaag heb ik weer een nieuwe nailart voor jullie! Ik heb half gebruik gemaakt van bovenstaande full nail water decals van KKCenterHK en ik heb zelf wat pop art bijgetekend met de hand! In eerste instantie was het de bedoeling om een complete waterdecal mani te maken, maar helaas zaten er maar 10 waterdecals in het pakje, en ging er ééntje stuk!

For today I have a new nailart which I want to show you! For half of the mani I used above full nail waterdecals from KKCenterHK and the other half is some handmade pop art! At first I wanted to make a complete waterdecal mani but unfortunately these packages just have 10 wraps, and one broke, so I couldn't do all my nails with it anymore!

Review: Born Pretty Store Nailart Brushes

Voor vandaag heb ik een nieuwe review voor jullie over een setje nailart kwastjes! Ik krijg vaak de vraag hoe ik nou die kleine dingetjes teken op mijn nagels, heel simpel dus met zo'n klein kwastje! Bovenstaand setje kwastjes komt bij Born Pretty Store vandaan, we gaan dit setje dus even flink testen!

Hunt Me If You Can is het laatste lakje van de Essence Vampire's Love collectie die ik jullie ga laten zien. Helaas heb ik zelf het laatste lakje niet meer kunnen bemachtigen maar gelukkig de overige 4 wel!

Hunt Me If You Can is the last polish from the Vampire's Love collection by Essence which I'm going to show you. Unfortunately I didn't find the last polish from this collection but luckily I found the other 4!

Essence- The Dawn Is Broken

The Dawn Is Broken is het 3e lakje die ik jullie ga laten zien uit de Limited Edition Vampire's Love van Essence. Toen ik dit lakje zag moest ik meteen aan het laatste deel van de Twilight Saga denken -> Breaking Dawn, zullen ze dit lakje daarop gebaseerd hebben?

The Dawn Is Broken is the third polish which I'm going to show you from the Limited Edition Vampire's Love by Essence. When I saw this polish I immidiatly had to think about the last part from the Twilight Saga -> Breaking Dawn. I'm wondering if Essence inspired this polish on that part?

Afgelopen week schreef ik al een post over het gebruik van dottingtools. Vandaag ga ik jullie een how to laten zien hoe je je eigen dottingtool kunt creëren zonder er ééntje te hoeven kopen! Heel simpel met bovenstaande spulletjes kun je maar liefst 4 verschillende dottingtools creëren. Bovenstaande spulletjes heeft bijna iedereen wel in huis dus wanneer je even snel je eigen dottingtool wilt gebruiken is dit een oplossing!

Into The Dark is het tweede lakje uit de Limited Edition Vampire's Love van Essence. Ik kan je alvast verklappen dat dit mijn favoriete lakje uit deze Limited Edition is!

Into The Dark is the second polish which I'm going to show you from the Limited Edition Vampire's Love by Essence. I can already tell you that this polish is my favourite from this collection!

Essence - Gold Old Buffy!

Gold Old Buffy van Essence is een lakje uit de nieuwe Limited Edition Vampire's Love. De Vampire's Love collectie is op dit moment nog steeds verkrijgbaar in de winkel. Na tijden werd ik eindelijk eens enthousiast van een nieuwe limited edition, de afgelopen LE's trokken mijn aandacht niet zo, maar deze wel!

Gold Old Buffy by Essence is a polish from the newest Limited Edition Vampire's Love. The Vampire's Love collection is still available at the stores right now. This was the first LE which is seriously worth it, the last few LE's didn't get my attention, but this one does!

Notd: Pink/Plum Gradiënt!

Voor deze zondag heb ik een hele chique nailart voor jullie! Ik vond deze nailart zelf erg mooi ogen en is ook erg geschikt voor de feestdagen die eraan komen. Ben je dus nog op zoek naar een mooie en niet al te moeilijke nailart voor de feestdagen? Dan hoef je waarschijnlijk niet lang meer door te zoeken!

Review: Born Pretty Store Nailpiercing Set

 Vorige week in de Random Haul zagen jullie al een pakketje van Born Pretty Store voorbijkomen, dit nagelpiercing setje was deel hiervan. Vandaag ga ik jullie een uitgebreide review geven van dit nagelpiercingsetje! Zoals je op bovenstaande foto kunt zien bestaat dit setje uit 3 wheels met piercings en een klein boortje.

Last week I showed you the Random Haul, a package of Born Pretty Store was part of this haul! For today I'm going to show you this nailpiercing set! On above picture you can see the products which are in this set. The set contains 3 wheels with different piercings and a little naildrill.

Winners Autumn Nailart Contest

Jullie hebben er een tijdje op moeten wachten, maar eindelijk is het zover! Vandaag ga ik de 3 winnaars van de Nailart Contest bekend maken! Het heeft de jury flink wat moeite gekost om de winnaars te kiezen, maar uiteindelijk zijn er 3 winnaars uitgerold! Marilyn & Me van Catrice is een lakje die nog redelijk nieuw is en ik geloof pas sinds september verkocht wordt. Na heel veel positiefs over dit lakje gelezen te hebben was ik zelf toch ook érg benieuwd en kocht ik het lakje om hem uit te proberen!

Marilyn & Me is one of the newest polishes by Catrice, I thought this polish was available since September, so it's reasonable new. I already saw some positive things about this polish and I became pretty curious, I decided to buy this polish and test it for myself.

Selfmade Glittergel French on Gelnails

Een tijdje geleden schreef ik in de purple glitter french gelnails @ Salon Di-Vers al dat ik iets nieuws bijgeleerd had, namelijk het zelf mengen van gel met losse glitter om zo een zelfgemaakte glittergel van te maken! Ik besloot dit zelf ook eens thuis uit te proberen, even testen of het werkelijk wel zo makkelijk is als het lijkt!

A while ago when I wrote the purple glitter french gelnails @ Salon Di-vers post I already told you that I learned something new. I learned how I can make a glittergel out of clear gel and loose glitters! So I tested it at home, let's see if this is really as easy as it looks like!

Catrice - After Eight

After Eight is een vrij nieuw lakje uit het assortiment van Catrice. Het is natuurlijk ontzettend fijn dat Catrice redelijk vaak van assortiment verwisselt, zo kunnen we blijven genieten van al het moois! Nu maar hopen dat zij dit lakje voorlopig niet uit het assortiment halen, want hij is echt de moeite waard!

After Eight is a reasonable new polish from the assortment by Catrice. Ofcourse it's very nice that Catrice changes the assortment regulary so we can enjoy all the beautiful stuff! Let's hope that they don't put this polish out of assortment because it's really worth it!

Notd: Marble Nails!

Het is alweer een hele lange tijd geleden dat ik voor het laatst een marble nails gemaakt heb. Laatst kreeg ik er spontaan weer zin in en pakte ik een aantal lakjes om voor de verandering weer eens te gaan... Marblen!

Random Haul

Het is alweer een tijd geleden dat ik een nieuwe haul online geplaatst heb. Eigenlijk is hier een vrij simpele reden voor, wanneer ik gewoon thuis ben koop ik weinig nagelspul, heel afentoe een nieuwe flesje nagellak en om daar nou een hele haul van te maken gaat me iets té ver ;-). Nu leek het me wel leuk om van de afgelopen paar maanden een aantal spulletjes en pakketjes bij elkaar te leggen en deze voor vandaag aan jullie te laten zien zodat jullie meteen weer een idee hebben welke producten er de komende weken voorbij kunnen komen!

It's been a while ago since the last time I posted a haul. Actually there is one simple reason, when i'm just at home I don't buy that much stuff. La Femme Beauty - Mocha Pink

Na de afgelopen weken veel herfstkleuren te hebben gedragen was ik dit keer weer eens toe aan een iets vrolijker kleurtje. Die me niet constant doet herinneren aan hoe slecht het weer gaat worden in de loop van de maanden.. Mocha pink is een supermooi lakje die niet té is, maar wel erg mooi is!

After all the fall colours the last few weeks I just had to wear a little bit happier colour this time. A colour which doesn't remind me every minute at the bad weather we have, and which is still coming... Mocha Pinks a a supergorgeous polish which isn't very bright, but it is gorgeous!

Review: Kinza Corporation

Een tijdje geleden ontving ik een emailtje van de eigenaar van Kinza Corporation, ze bood me aan om kennis te maken met haar webshop en wat spulletjes te testen. Eerlijk gezegd wist ik niet precies wat ik moest verwachten toen ik naar de webshop keek, maar ik was zéér verrast toen ik de producten binnenkreeg!

A while ago I recieved an email from the owner of Kinza Corporation, she offered me to meet her webshop and test some products. Ofcourse I wanted to do that, because I was pretty curious after seeing the webshop. I didn't knew exactly what I had to expect, but I was very suprised when the package arrived with the lovely products!

China Glaze - Flip Flop Fantasy

Flip Flop Fantasy is een fel neon lakje uit de poolside collectie van de zomer 2010. Niet een lakje die echt perfect is voor de donkere dagen die eraan komen, maar wel een lakje die erg leuk is om mee te nailarten! Aanstaande zondag zal er ook een nailart verschijnen waarbij ik dit lakje gebruikt heb, voor vandaag de swatches van het lakje zelf!

Flip Flop Fantasy is a bright neon polish from the poolside collection from the summer of 2010. It's not a suitable polish for this season, but it's perfect to nailart with! Upcoming sunday I will show you a nailart made with flip flop fantasy, for today I'm going to show you the swatches of Flip Flop Fantasy!

French Manicure Gelnails Flowers/Stars

Sinds ik begonnen ben met de cursus nagelstyliste in maart dit jaar lopen mijn moeder en zus al met gelnagels, ontzettend leuk natuurlijk want beide hebben nog steeds gelnagels welke ik om de paar weken weer helemaal mag opknappen! Zo was mijn zus in het begin erg van de glitterrandjes en is zij nu weer helemaal into de witte french manicure.

Since I started with the gelnails course in March this year my mom and sister both have gelnails. Very nice ofcourse because both still have their gelnails and I can play with them every 2/3 weeks! In the beginning my sister was a big fan of the glitter french, but the last few weeks she's completely into the white french manicure again.

Safari Nailpolish - Green

Voor vandaag heb ik een keertje een niet zo'n somber 'herfst-winter' lakje voor jullie, maar een prachtig groen lakje! Dit lakje is van het merk Safari, sommige flesjes hebben nog wel eens een nummer op het flesje, maar helaas heeft dit lakje zelfs geen nummer..

For today I'm going to show you a nice bright colour, so it's not a sad 'fall-winter' polish like you've seen last week, this time it's a green one! The polish is from the brand Safari, most of the time these polishes have a number on it's bottle but this one doesn't, so it has no name or number...

Purple Glitter French Gelnails @ Salon Di-Vers

Een tijdje geleden toen ik de post plaatste waarin ik jullie vertelde dat ik mijn certificaat behaald heb voor de gelnagels vertelde ik er meteen bij dat ik voortaan op de zaterdagen werkzaam ben in Salon Di-Vers. In de week van 17 Oktober ben ik begonnen met een aantal modellen in de salon en het bevalt me echt prima! Vandaag ga ik jullie een set gelnagels laten zien die ik in de salon geplaatst heb.

A while ago when I wrote the post about me being a certificated nailstylist for the gelnails, I also told you about the salon I was going to work at. So on saturday's you can find me out there at Salon Di-Vers. In the week of october the 17th I started my first experience at the salon, and I'm very happy they offered me this chance! Today I'm going to show you a set of gelnails which I placed at the salon.
