Tutorial: How to make flowers

Om niet steeds hetzelfde soort berichten te plaatsen heb ik besloten om vandaag de tutorial te plaatsen ipv het bericht over de nieuwe lakken. In deze tutorial ga ik laten zien hoe je op een redelijk simpele manier mooie grote bloemen op je nagels kunt maken. Het leuke is dat deze creatie met verschillende kleuren leuk blijft, dus ben je van plan om het ook te proberen, wissel gerust van achtergrond kleuren! Of gebruik dezelfde kleuren, dat mag natuurlijk ook!

I like some changing instead of again a post about polishes and stuff, so today another tutorial. This time a tutorial about flowers, it's not really hard to do. The fun side of this creation is that you can play with the background colours, I used pink and purple polishes, but you can use another colour as well! Or use the same colours!

We beginnen met de ondergrond kleur, natuurlijk nadat je een basecoat aangebracht heb tegen het verkleuren van je nagels. Ik heb gekozen voor de lichtroze kleur van Catrice - Just Married. Lees hier meer over deze lak.

Let's start with the background colour, ofcourse after the basecoat so your nails won't be yellow after the creation. I choosed the light pink colour from Catrice - Just Married. Read here more about this polish.

Vervolgens maak je een soort van driehoek aan de onderkant van je nagels, zoals ik hierboven heb gedaan op de foto. De lak die ik hiervoor gebruikt heb is: La Femme Beauty - Techno (nr 79). Deze 2 kleuren zou je eventueel kunnen veranderen, zorg er alleen wel voor dat het geen vloekende kleuren worden, en dat de achtergrond niet afleid van de bloemen die erop komen. Dat is de reden waarom ik lichte onderkleuren gekozen heb.

Up next make a soort triangle on the points of your nails, just like I did on this pic. I used the polish: La Femme Beauty - Techno (nr 79) for these triangles. You can change these colours if you want, just make sure you don't pick cursing colours, we don't want the background to be the most striking of this creation. This is the reason why I picked 2 light colours for the background.


Vervolgens maak je de bloemen, het ziet er nu ingewikkeld uit, maar dat is het echt niet. Je kunt hiervoor verschillende hulpmiddelen gebruiken, ik heb bij deze een dottingtool gebruikt, maar je kunt ook een tandenstoker, cocktailprikker, satéprikker, kwastjes etc gebruiken. Probeer een beetje een grote druppel op je tool te houden, de dikke druppel wordt het dikke gedeelte van het blaadje, gewoon voorzichtig naar de zijkant van je nagel vegen en de dikke druppel wordt steeds smaller en smaller waardoor het eruit ziet als een blaadje. Maak 3 van deze blaadjes onder elkaar en voila daar is je bloem! Het hoeft ook niet allemaal perfect recht, het geeft een iets speelser effect wanneer niet alles er perfect hetzelfde uitziet. Tenslotte is geen enkele bloem identiek aan de ander.

Now we're gonna make the flowers, it looks difficult, but believe me it's not. You can use a lot of tools to make the flowers, I used a dottingtool, but you can use picks or brushes too. Try to hold a big drop of polish on your tool to make the outside of the leaves, just push your tool to the left side of your nail so the drop is getting smaller and smaller. Now you're having one leave of your flower, just do the same for the other 2 leaves and voila, you're having your flower! By the way, it doesn't matter when not all of the leaves are exactly the right shape, it's nicer to make it a little bit playfuller. Remember that there isn't any flower which is exactly like another flower.


De volgende stap is om je bloemen een hart te geven, ik heb hiervoor La Femme Beauty - Ultra Gold gebruikt. Gewoon een stip zetten aan de uiteindes van de blaadjes en het geeft al meer het effect van bloem.

The next step is to gave your flower a heart, I used La Femme Beauty - Ultra Gold. Just make a dot on the outside of the leaves and it looks exactly like a flower.



Nu kun je ervoor kiezen om je bloemen zo te laten of net zoals ik heb gedaan een extra streepje langs het driehoekje te zetten. Op de bovenste foto is dit niet goed zichtbaar, dus op de onderste foto een beetje een verduidelijking van wat ik eigenlijk bedoel. Ik heb hier de lak van Essence - Rock 'n roll voor gebruikt, gewoon een streepje trekken dus. En nu zijn je nagels helemaal klaar!

Now you can choose to leave the flowers alone, or what I did, make another stripe along the triangle. It's not really good to see on the first photo, it's better to see on the next one. I used the polish from Essence - Rock 'n Roll for this stripe. Just make a stripe, it does not have to be real precise. Now your nails are fully done!
