Essence Crazy About Colour Collection

De laatste collectie van Essence is de Crazy about Colour collectie, deze collectie bevat 3 kleurtjes, van welke er 2 best apart zijn! Al deze lakjes hebben een crème finish dus geen glitter/shimmer etc etc. Oke laten we beginnen met een foto van de potjes.

The last collection from Essence is the Crazy About Colour collection, this collection has 3 colours, and 2 of them are a kind of special! Al these polishes are crème so no glitter/shimmer whatsoever. Alright, let's start with a bottlepic.

Dus dit zijn de potjes, van links naar rechts: Think Pink, Lilac Forever en Crazy Me. Het ontwerp van de potjes vind ik wel geinig, het is natuurlijk wel gewoon een standaard ontwerp potje nagellak maar de felgekleurde dopjes geven het wel een leuk effect! De dopjes zorgen er een beetje voor dat je snel naar zo'n lakje pakt wanneer je een nagellak in je collectie zoekt!

So these are the bottles, from left to right: Think Pink, Lilac Forever and Crazy Me. I think the design of these bottles are kind of funny, it's ofcourse a standard bottle nailpolish, but the caps are giving the special effect! These caps are fiercely coloured so you see these polishes fast when you are looking for a nice polish in your collection!

Think Pink is het eerste lakje van deze collectie, een mooi roze/rood achtige lak. Applicatie is prima, na 1 laagje is deze lak eigenlijk al helemaal dekkend, maar een tweede laagje geeft natuurlijk altijd nét een iets mooier resultaat. Op deze foto dus wel 2 laagjes lak. Echt een heel aparte kleur vind ik dit niet, deze kleur zullen we vast en zeker wel vaker tegenkomen!

Think Pink is the first polish from this collection, a nice pink/redish polish. Application is fine, opaque with 1 layer! But for a nicer result you can put a second layer on it. So 2 layers on this pic. Think Pink is not really a special colour, we're going to see this colour often!

Lilac Forever is het tweede lakje. Deze vind ik wel weer heel leuk, een lila lakje welke niet zo licht is dat hij sheer wordt, maar ook weer niet te donker zodat het net weer paars wordt. Ik denk dat er wel leuke dingen met dit kleurtje gedaan kunnen worden! Applicatie was wederom weer goed al had ik wel 3 laagjes nodig zodat de kleur een beetje mooi op de foto overkwam, 2 laagjes is trouwens ook goed draagbaar hoor, maar bij foto's lijkt hij dan ietwat sheer.

Lilac Forever is the second polish. I really like this colour, a nice lilac polish, which isn't to light to be sheer, and isn't to dark to be purple. I think there are lots of things you can do with this colour! Application was again fine, although I needed 3 layers on this pic, 2 layers is enough for real life, but on photo's it look a bit sheer.

Crazy Me is het laatste lakje, deze is ook echt wel hét meest opvallende lakje! Dit is echt een hele aparte groen, ik heb er niet de juiste woorden voor om deze groen te omschrijven, maar het doet mij een beetje denken aan zeegroen. Applicatie was bij deze lak wel iets moeilijker, een beetje aan de dikke kant, maar daardoor is hij wel weer volledig dekkend met 1 laagje, toch heb ik er op deze foto een extra laagje overheen gedaan omdat foto's toch vaak de lak wat sheer laten overkomen. Deze lak is ook wel echt mijn favoriet uit deze collectie, echt heel apart, moet alleen nog wat leuks bedenken wat er met deze lak te doen valt..!

Crazy Me is the last polish, this is thé most notable polish! It's a really strange green, I don't have the right words to describe it, but it does think me about seagreen. Application was a little bit harder, the polish is a bit thick, but opaque with 1 layer! On this pic I used 2 layers because my camera does some polishes look like they are sheer. This colour is really my favorite from this collection, really special, I only have to think about some things to do with..!
